
Niamh is a stop-motion animator and model maker and recent graduate from the BA Animation course at UWE in Bristol (UK).
Captivated by puppets and miniatures, Niamh is a highly motivated and detail-oriented creative, committed to continuously learning and refining her skills in character animation. She has a deep love for the whole stop-motion process, from sculpting characters and painting tiny props, to set dressing and editing. Niamh's current personal project explores her love for nature and insects which you can see more of on her Instagram.
Whilst at university, Niamh built a strong foundation of experience working on award-winning short films, including the BAFTA-nominated ‘Adiós’ and the Student BAFTA long-listed 'The Happy Pig Brand'. In her final year, Niamh co-directed and animated the stop-motion short film 'Meal Deal', which recently received the undergraduate craft award for editing at the RTS Student Television awards 2026. Since graduating, Niamh has worked as a Trainee Assistant Animator at Aardman Animations and has assisted on multiple short films by Spare Flesh.
