My Crochet Animation Blanket was made by individually free-machine stitching 60 frames of an animation onto squares of cotton, and then using crochet to join them all together. The final piece measured around 4ft x 7ft and easily took more than 100 hours to construct. To accompany the blanket, I created a short film (which you can see above) that shows the animation interacting with the piece through the use of projection.
