For my collaborative short film project at university, 'Nellie's Adventure', I made a bug puppet that would be viewed under a magnifying glass. I was inspired by the traditional Stink Bug for the shape and looked to more tropical bugs for the colour design. I wanted the puppet to look realistic and be fully animatable. This page shows the fabrication process for this puppet, along with some test animation.
