For my collaborative short film project at university, 'Nellie's Adventure', I made a toucan puppet that would be sitting on a branch. I really enjoyed the problem solving of making an armature for a non-human character, and I used this puppet as a chance to have a go at felting. This page shows the fabrication process for this puppet, along with some test animation.
